Mokena's EL program is designed to prepare and inspire students to achieve their full potential in the school community and in society through comprehensive, research-based, and student-focused services that promote academic language proficiency, student achievement, and personal growth

8th Grade Spanish
Mokena Junior High School offers a full-year Spanish class to our eighth grade students. The main objective in offering this course at the junior high school is to provide the students with the opportunity to participate in Spanish II and advanced Spanish courses at Lincoln-Way Central.
